zagazig University originated initially as a branch of ain Shams University, 1969, and separated from Ain Shams University and became an independent University under the Act No. 18 of 1974 on the establishment of the University of zagazig , and then it was consisted of 6 faculties : human medicine, veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, Commerce, education, and considers the University of zagazig between the Egyptian universities in terms of Creation Date, and take the side of the image of the national leader Ahmed Orabi son of the eastern province logo.
