The College of Engineering was initially established under the name of "Higher Industrial Institute in Port Said" within the specialized industrial higher institutes affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education. The College was then composed of the following departments: 1- Production Engineering Department. Mechanical Engineering Department. 3 - Department of Electrical Engineering. 4- Ship Engineering Department. 5 - Department of Science and Mathematics.1 - Department of production engineering.

3 - Department of electrical engineering.
4 - Department of ship engineering.
