the College of education was founded in damanhur in 1988 by Resolution No. 507 of 1988 to establish a branch of Alexandria University in damanhur, the continued subordination of the college to the University of Alexandria until the issuance of the decision on the establishment of the University of damanhur as an independent in 2010.
