The college was founded in 1981 by Ministerial decree No. 278 of 1981 and was belonging at the beginning to the University of zagazig until the release of Resolution No. 84 of 2005 on the establishment of the University of Banha University is a separate University from the University of zagazig. The college has seven scientific departments : 1 - Department of Botany. 2 - Department of Chemistry. 3 - Department of entomology. 4 - Department of Geology. 5 - Department of Physics. 6 - The Department of Mathematics. 7 - Department of Zoology.1 - Department of Botany.
