A branch of the Faculty of Law was established at Fouad I University in Alexandria on the basis of a decision by the Council of Fuad I University and the ratification of the decision by the Council of Ministers on 6 August 1938. The Zervodaki Palace was rented to be the headquarters of this branch and the study began on Saturday 15 October 1938,
