About
The College of Engineering was established in 1975 under the decree of the Prime Minister No. 924 of 1975 as a faculty affiliated with the branch of Assiut University in Minya. It continued its dependence on Minia University until Presidential Decree No. 93 of 1976 establishing Minia University as an independent university.
