Faculty of Specific Education was Founded in 1988 under the Minister of higher education decree No. 1096 issued in October 22, 1988 in the light of recommendations that issued by the National Conference on education development in July 1987 because of the growing need to teachers in various specific specialists , the college initially was directly subordinate to the Ministry of higher education until the Presidential Decree No. 329 of 1998, by which the University of Cairo included the college.
