Universitywas established by the Republican Decree no (243) in 1996.The University is a member of theAssociation of Arab Universitiessince 1997.All the awarded degrees are accredited and validated by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities. TheCampus consists of four educational buildings,14 faculties, the teaching hospital and two hotels one for male students and the other for female students, Central library Institutions and Playgrounds ,while the central library and male students hotel are located 150 meters away from the campus .
