About
The Faculty of Science was established in Mansoura in 1969 in order to cope with the rapid development in the country and to meet the increase in the population of the delta, which requires the education, training and rehabilitation of local scientific cadres capable of meeting the educational and scientific requirements in the region. Whose name was changed from East Delta University to Mansoura University in 1973.
