About
The Faculty of Engineering was founded in 1950 with the rise of the University by turning the "higher Institute of Engineering" to "Faculty of Engineering", but the story of its rise and its development backs to the nineteenth century; "school of operations" established in 1839, and then changed its name to "school of Arts and crafts" in 1932, then a ministerial decision was issued in 1946 to turn the "School of Arts and crafts" to "higher Institute of engineering", which became the Faculty of Nuclear Engineering .
